For the past couple of years, Nesfa Ben has striven to perfect the gift of poetry and rap which is inspired from his testimony of being engulfed in the street life to an encounter that drew his faith to grown confident in the most high.

Ben is a native of Trinidad & Tobago, however he was raised in Northeast Baltimore, MD. As a teenager growing up Nesfa faced temptation on all sides do things that were not wholesome. Ben found himself fighting, robbing and even getting put out of school for his foolish actions.

"I knew I had to make a change but I just didn't know where to start." During his senior year of High school Ben surrendered his life to God and he has never been the same. "God had to strip everything that I deemed to love, just so I can focus on him. Ben always had an ear for music as a whole at an early age.

"The purpose of the music that I make is to influence, edify, and encourage through the spreading of the Gospel and his life experiences through rap". Currently he has made several songs. Although his music is founded on biblical principles it is not only limited for the ears of people of faith, but those that are not within any faith background.

His music address's relevant situations that people are dealing with and it aims to give listeners hope from a complete Biblical perspective. Ben is always working to make music that will impact lives and deliver truth. In 2013 Nesfa founded Armor of Light Entertainment. Armor of Light specializes in video production, Photo-shoots, Logo design, YouTube designs, & much more!

Amor of Light was first inspired by the scripture Romans 13:12. "I come from a city where many people do not have an outlet to voice what's on their mind effectively". "I want Armor of Light to be that outlet for every person in the world that has something to say and has been silenced". "Cries of the city is Ben's most popular video that he has produced which entails the poverty stricken life of East Baltimore (Down Da Hill).

In spite of the struggles Ben has faced; he continues to press pass adversity and remains steadfast and dedicated to being a world changer.
